Beyond Retro  

2022 marks 20 years of this Brighton based champion of sustainable fashion. Beyond Retro is a favourite of locals and day-trippers alike. Found in Brighton’s vibrant North Laines, this vast sky-lit warehouse is packed with hand-picked retro pieces. From 60s to 90s clothing, vintage Y2K fashion and vintage sports brands, Beyond Retro will satisfy all your 20th century fashion needs! 

 

Preloved of Brighton 

This lovely little boutique in Fiveways, hidden in the Brighton suburbs, is perfect for those looking to bag a vintage bargain. This second-hand consignment jewel has been selling since 2013. With beautiful ever-changing window displays you’ll find it hard not to pop in and have a rummage!   

 

Bobby & Dandy 

Bobby & Dandy Vintage specialises in hand- picked vintage clothing, with an emphasis on mid- century originals and vintage workwear. With their pieces frequently being sourced for use in film, theatre and tv production you know you’re getting the highest quality vintage finds at a fraction of the price! For those Netflix lovers, Bobby & Dandy’s pieces have recently been worn in the award-winning series, 'Sex Education'.  

 

Snoopers Attic 

Found tucked away above the eclectic Snoopers Paradise, Snoopers Attic houses everything from delicate designs using vintage materials to curious custom oddities. Situated in the heart of Brighton’s famous North Laines, this dedicated collective of vintage hoarders, designers and makers is not to be overlooked!  

 

Alongside traditional brick and mortar vintage shops, Brighton also has various markets and stalls popping up throughout the week. Visit the historic Open Market on Marshalls Row. You’ll find Brighton's most talented and knowledgeable local producers and creators. You’ll find lots of handmade and eco-friendly products. Perfect for gifts. The market is easily accessed by bus. It's perfect for children with a local park just across the road. With a strong focus on fresh nutritious foods and ethical products, there’s lots to discover.
